Words cannot describe how the Mishnah along with the class has helped me to a greater understanding. The best I can describe it that years ago I had a special eye exam and it showed I had no depth perception. I didn't realize that, for I grew up with it. Reading and studying with this group showed me that I had limited depth perception of haShem's word. Since I was not raised in the culture, language and the whole dynamics of the Jewish life, my vision was limited to a dominant western mindset. This group has not only changed me, but I am using it to reach others and hopefully it will impact them as well.
"The Mishnah Walk has opened my eyes to a deeper level of Torah study. As one who has followed the Messiah through the study of Torah and rabbinic writings and teaching for many years, I never realized how wide and deep the base of knowledge was. Victor, through his light and sometimes humorous style has helped me realize a deeper level of consciousness of the Torah and Temple, and a stronger vision of relating to the Children of Israel. The site is very informative and has a mountain of information for all levels of believers. I highly recommend following this site and especially tuning in on Sunday nights of some great teaching. Thanks Victor."
"The Mishnah Walk is an outstanding resource. Every believer should have the Mishnah next to their Bible, and The Mishnah Walk helps bring understanding and clarity to this greatly misunderstood resource. Don't leave the Mishnah out if you desire to walk like Yeshua. The Mishnah Walk will help you on your journey. I wish I had this resource starting out from my youth."
This group has truly been a blessing to learn about the Torah-given authority of the Sanhedrin, the oral laws codified in the Mishnah, and general questions on Halacha to better walk out our faith and Torah observance.
From a non-Jewish background this group helps us to be like Ruth when she says “your people will be my people, and your God my God.
It is humbling to come to the realization that reading and studying the Torah and Scriptures alone is not enough to bring the kind of relationship and understanding I want with Hashem, Messiah, His Torah and His people. Since we began studying along with The Mishnah Walk, a whole world of new understanding has been given to our daily walk. We have also developed a relationship with others studying and learning together. Victor, Peter, Joe and the other teachers study WITH us, walking alongside us in a community of brothers all seeking a more faithful, obedient walk. Their humility, love, patience and unselfish offering of time and resources is a wondrous gift. I am humbled and blessed to have these wonderful brothers and sisters helping us all on this journey to become the people we were created to be.
If you are a Christian with a heart's desire towards Yisrael and her people, and want to learn about the deeper truths of Torah, I couldn't recommend a better place to start! I WAS a belt-loop tzitziot wearing Messianic....I now wear a proper katan undershirt. Thank you for the work you are doing to bring all of Hashem's children closer to truth! It is my hope and desire to see all of Christianity enter into Torah and bind themselves to their brother Judah. This is where your journey begins!
One of the greatest gifts, beside knowing and understanding there's is no other Creator than the God of Abraham, Jacob and Israel - is to learn how and why it is important to rectify our daily life choices walking in accordance to HaShems instruction. The Mishnah Walk, is helping me better understand many of the interrogatives that have been in the depth of my soul since childhood and mean so much to me, a brilliant and essential Hebrew guide for those (as myself) who didn't grow up studying and learning the essence of Holy Scripture in its unique set apart living richness from before, for the present time and for the times to come in a Kingdom who's sovereign KING is eternally Honorable and Just, eternally GRATEFUL.
I have been pursuing to walk in the Torah for about 10 years. I have been a follower of Joseph Good in his teachings of The Temple and that lead me to The Mishna Walk. I feel it has been another paradigm shift in my walk. The best way to describe it is the following.
If the NT is commentary on the Torah/OT, the Mishna is commentary on the Torah; not adding to the Torah. It is the extension or specifics on how to carry out specific commands.
I love The Mishna Walk. I have so enjoyed the different teachings and aspects. Many of them have been eye-opening. Some of the principles that I’ve learned have been transformative for my faith. Thank you for speaking the truth and breaking some of these difficult topics down for those of us who may need a little extra help. Keep them coming! May Hashem continue to use you! Blessings.
The Mishna Walk website contributes so much ignored and even forgotten information for us that we started a transition from Christianity. Being able to understand the great importance of how the Mishna does not detract from it, even better complements the written law, has changed many of my points of view, especially when I teach our community in Texas.
As I have gone through the different teachings throughout Mishnah Walk, I have come to better understand how to walk properly before HaShem. I am still a work in progress, as we all are, but the information given is priceless. I love the fact that those involved at Mishnah Walk are inclusive of us from a former Christian background. They have done such a good job of explaining hard to understand texts in the Torah. They have also inspired me to do more mitzvot, study Mishnah Torah, and learn Hebrew to better understand how to be a part of faithful Israel! May HaShem continue to bless all involved at Mishnah Walk for their selfless attitude towards helping others walk faithfully with HaShem. B”H
In the short time that I have been listening to Mishnah Walk, I have learned so much. I like how the format of teaching is very laid back, however, the information that is being taught is profound. I really appreciate that they don't hide their own struggles with some of the topics being discussed and what some of proper applications would look like for today. There is space for people who are at all different levels in their learning and coming from different backgrounds, but who have the same goal of deepening their understanding alongside others

So much to learn so little time. Juggling between life, work, Hebrew, all the things I should have learned as a little girl but didn't...the thought of studying the Mishnah sounded like a dream for the world to come. I'm grateful for the Mishnah walk making this dream attainable by giving us small understandable nuggets of Mishnah to meditate on weekly that fits the challenges of living in a first world country.
My understanding of Halakha has grown and my appreciation for Torah deeper than I ever thought possible. Thank you guys for all the time, hard work and sharing this journey with us. I'm totally enjoying all the new things I've learned about chaves, mikvah, kashrut. All essential parts of growing in faith and drawing nearer to Hashem. It's a path best walked as a community. Feeling humbled and grateful. תודה רבה
